Vetlands was founded by civilians to thank the men and women of the United States Military, veterans, and their families, for their sacrifice that allows all Americans to live in peace. Many of these brave men and women will bear a high cost for thier sacrifice. Some have paid with their lives. Many others will suffer constant reminders of the traumas of war throughout their lives. This sacrifice inspires many civilians to sacrifice in return, as a gesture of thanks. The members of Vetlands wish to express sincere thanks to the civilians who have sacrificed in various ways to help advance the mission of Vetlands. The pages included here pay special tribute to some of those civilians who have been especially generous.
